      The questions South Florida pool owners ask us most, answered straight.

      How do I know if my pool is leaking?
      Some water loss is normal evaporation, but losing around an inch a day or more is not. Other signs are a water bill that keeps climbing, soggy or sunken spots around the deck, air bubbles coming from the return jets, and a pump that loses prime. A bucket test can suggest you are losing water, but it cannot tell you where the leak is or why — that takes equipment.
      What causes most pool leaks?
      Most leaks originate in the plumbing and fittings rather than the visible walls — hairline cracks, failing gaskets, compromised return or skimmer lines, and light conduits. That is why a visual inspection on its own usually misses them, and why the water keeps disappearing even when the shell looks perfect.
      How do you find a leak without digging up the deck?
      We start with a Leakalyzer, which measures the exact rate of water loss and compensates for evaporation, so we confirm there is a real leak before anything else. From there we use an acoustic hydrophone to hear water escaping inside the plumbing, an endoscopic camera to see inside the lines, and pressure and dye tests to isolate and confirm the exact point. Digging is a last resort, and only where the leak is already confirmed.
      Do you repair the leak, or only find it?
      Both. We repair underground plumbing, skimmers and main drains, light conduits, structural cracks and equipment seals. When the repair is straightforward we do it during the same visit; otherwise you get a clear written quote and we schedule the work.
      How much does pool leak detection cost?

      Can you come out the same day?
      Often, yes. Same-day inspections are available across Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties depending on the day's schedule. Call us and we will tell you the soonest slot we have.
      What do I get at the end of the visit?
      A photo diagnostic report — every job includes one. It documents each zone we scanned, what we found and the state of the repair, with photographs. Customers have used these reports to support their insurance claims.
      My pool is green or has been abandoned. Can you recover it?
      Yes. That is our Green Pool Rescue service: chemical shock treatment, algae and biofilm elimination, vacuum and debris removal, filter backwash and deep clean, and water balance restoration.
